Allison's work exudes a vivid, playful influence which stems from her experience as an interior designer, wall-covering graphic designer and artist. The use of strong and vivid color comes from the influences of the intensity of light found while living on the Alabama Gulf Coast. She regularly works in acrylic on canvas and has recently studied with Paul Jackson (watercolor) which has opened a new medium that allows her to further explore light and intensity.
